Local Vauxhall retailer Quest Motor Group have announced their commitment to grass roots football in the Maldon and Tiptree area by supporting Maldon and Tiptree under 10’s with a brand new team kit.
As part of Official Home Nation Sponsors Vauxhall’s wider support for youth football, Quest Motor Group officially handed over the brand new strip to Maldon and Tiptree Football Club at their Maldon based Retail facility last Saturday (14th November 2015).
Martin and Robin Gozzett, Directors at Quest Motor Group said; “Supplying Maldon and Tiptree Football Club with a brand new football kit is just the starting point of an exciting new partnership between Quest Motor Group and the club.”
“We have nominated a dedicated member of staff as our Football Champion who will work closely with the team. By giving their time and ideas to support the club, we hope that this will continue to be a successful partnership between ourselves and Maldon and Tiptree Football Club.”
“Quest Motor Group’s sponsorship of Maldon and Tiptree Football Club highlights how committed Vauxhall are to supporting the game from grassroots through to top‐level international football and we are delighted to be part of the Vauxhall Football Youth Programme.”
The Vauxhall Youth Programme is part of Vauxhall’s highly successful sponsorship of all four Home Nations Football squads, from the junior teams through to the Senior Men’s and Women’s sides.
Launched in 2012, over 140 Vauxhall Retailers have now joined the Vauxhall Youth Football Programme and sponsored one or more local teams.
Sir Trevor Francis, The FA Director of Football Development said, “Using football to help engage the all‐important youth market is for me a key part of the Vauxhall sponsorship strategy and I applaud Vauxhall for their work supporting young people to be active in playing football. Without youth football, there is no professional football and so all support from local businesses like Vauxhall Retailers is absolutely invaluable.”
Sir Trevor added; “Having seen sponsorships in football that start and end on the pitch, I am genuinely delighted to add my support to a programme that reaches beyond the stadium and that delivers real benefits for grass roots football. “
