Corsa Birthday Surprise!

Dear Mr. Gozzett, In this age when we are all quick to complain and criticize, I felt it appropriate to write to you with a letter of praise and thanks. These thanks are directed towards your team at Maldon and in particular Richard Cowan, of whom you should have a great deal of pride as an example of premium customer care.  Recently we have bought a Corsa from you as a present for our daughter, Emma's, 17th birthday ......... lucky girl!  Rich, as ever, organized the whole deal, having initially found this car and then offering it to us in September 2005, we took him up on the offer and thereafter the car was placed in 'mothballs' until we were ready for delivery on January 27th of this year (2006). When the time came he delivered the car to our doorstep after work in his own time on the evening of Emma's birthday, complete with a big red bow attached! (As per the photo). Emma initially thought this was a joke, as she certainly wasn't expecting a car and what I great little car it is. Thank you Rich for your efforts and for putting yourself out to ensure that the job was done on time and in style!  Mr. Gozzett, your records will show that we have bought several Vauxhall cars from you over recent years and in fat do not go anywhere else for our vehicles. We have always been impressed by the genuinely personal attention we have received from Richard in particular, as well as the sales and aftercare team at Maldon and the fact that they don't just 'take the money and run’. Richard Cowan has generally been out main point of contact when we have dealt with your staff, this is due to the fact that we have learnt to trust him and that he will ensure that we receive the best of attention at all times. It's refreshing to find a car salesman that actually cares about the people he deals with and this is rewarded by customer loyalty in return.  In the past I have bought a number of differing makes of vehicles from other dealerships and have always been disappointed by the after sales care (if care is the right word here). My wife and I both know that our needs will be catered for when buying a car from you and should anything go wrong, every effort will be made to correct the fault. What more could we ask for?  I have included a couple of photos of the recent birthday present for you. I know Richard was quite excited about the whole event as he had never sold a car as a total surprise to the recipient before.
