I have just purchased a Vauxhall Vectra and Vauxhall Astra from your dealership and feel that I must pass comment on the service that I have received from all of the members in your team.  I have purchased new cars from many dealerships throughout the south east for over 30 years now and was pleasantly surprised with the courteous and professional manner with which your team have handled my enquiries and ultimate sales over the past two weeks. In particular, I have to say that Richard Cowan and Darren Smith are especially worthy of praise, bearing in mind the number of people requiring their attention last weekend. They kept their cool without losing that professional touch.  I am no doubt that Richard Hubbard, whom I had the pleasure of talking to on several occasions, would have assured me the same level of service and attention.

 

You may remember that I had the opportunity to talk to you personally last Saturday whilst waiting for Richard Cowan and we spoke of several issues including the increasing sale of cars over the internet.  I was most impressed with your positive response to this additional sales avenue and the fact that sometimes your only knowledge of a car being sold is that you are asked to deliver cars personally to the vendor’s address.

 

I, like most members of the public, am always looking for the right deal but I personally think that the old way is best and that it would be a shame if the person to person contact ever disappeared.  I firmly believe that dealerships such as yours deserve to maintain respectable margins to enable them to continue to recruit and retain quality sales staff, rather than the ‘used car salesmen’ reaping the biggest profits without the overheads of premises and training, etc.

 

I would like to finish by saying ‘thank you’ for a providing a pleasant buying experience, in spite of having one of the smallest showrooms that I have been in.  I wish you and your team a successful future and hope that your transition to the new out of town dealership runs smoothly.
