HARK, THE HERALD ANGELS SANG AT QUEST MOTORS

Vauxhall retailer, Quest Motors, once again spread sleigfuls of Christmas cheer across Maldon at the weekend, after hosting The BIG Sing Community Choir.

For the third year running, the dealership on Wycke Hill Business Park turned its car showroom into a packed-out auditorium, where over six-hundred locals attended to hear the angelic voices of the Maldon choir perform a medley of festive melodies as part of its Christmas tour.

The two nightly performances of ‘The BIG Sing’ on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th December, sponsored by Quest Motors, saw the Maldon community choir and Essex Gospel Choir turn well-known carols and songs into uplifting, vibrant, funky arrangements to get feet tapping and hands clapping.

Audiences also heard festive tunes from Maldon's LITTLE Sing kids’ choir and The BIG Sing Gospel Voices.

Conor Judge, Group Marketing Manager at Quest Motors, comments: “We are delighted to have once again hosted The BIG Sing at our Maldon dealership. It was a total sell-out on both nights and a fantastic performance enjoyed by all.

“The BIG Sing has become a real talking point here, with locals popping in regularly throughout the year to ask if we are hosting the choir at Christmas. We are so pleased to have welcomed the choir and hundreds of members of the local community through our doors and helped to spread festive cheer!”.

It's an exciting time for the choir as they launch their new charity 'The BIG Sing SOUL' which stands for Singing, Outreach, Unity and Love. Gemma Francis, their founder, says "the charity will enable us to generate funding so we can capture what we have created and take it to those who can't come to us, giving vulnerable groups in the community an opportunity to sing motivating songs and enjoy the therapeutic qualities singing has to offer".
